The CN81 creates smooth, warm, and hot overdrive without excess noise. Gain is enough to cover from clean boost to full on grind sound.
We recommend to try higher voltage than 9VDC for enhance dynamics and touch response. The CN81 accepts up to 18VDC.
When the CN81 is on, the output impedance is very low and able to drive long cables without any tone loss.
The output transformer give an unique flavor to the sound: gentle high treble and massive and defined low end.
