Pedally Is Now An Earthquaker Devices Dealer

Pedally is excited to announce that we have become an EarthQuaker Devices dealer!

We met Derek from EarthQuaker Devices at the 2024 NAMM show. He was showing pedals as part of the Delicious Audio pedal super booth.

The first thing I remember is how tall he is. (he probably gets this a lot! 😂) I’m a fairly tall guy at 6 foot 3 and Derek towered over me. From the first moment of speaking with him, you can sense Derek is super cool, friendly and knowledgeable about the company and products.

This interaction is what convinced me that EarthQuaker Devices is a good addition to our pedal catalog at Pedally. They are good people.

The onboarding process went incredibly well. Based on the way that EarthQuaker Devices treated us as a new dealer, I have no doubt they will have top notch customer service if any issues ever pop up down the road. Customer support from your manufacturers is important. They really have their processes dialed in well.

If EarthQuaker Devices as a brand is new to you, let me tell you what makes them so good.

What makes EarthQuaker Devices so good?

  3. Sound Quality: EarthQuaker Devices pedals are lauded for their exceptional sound quality. Whether it’s overdrive, delay, reverb, modulation, or any other effect, EarthQuaker Devices pedals are designed to produce top-notch sound that enhances a musician’s tone rather than detracting from it.
  4. Versatility: Many EarthQuaker Devices pedals offer a wide range of sounds and settings, allowing musicians to explore different tones and textures. This versatility makes them suitable for a variety of musical styles and preferences.

This transparency builds trust with consumers and reinforces the brand’s reputation for quality and integrity.

It is this combination of innovation, craftsmanship, sound quality and community engagement to explain why EarthQuaker Devices and Pedally will be a great partnership moving forward.

EarthQuaker Devices Product Highlights

The most popular pedal from EarthQuaker Devices is most likely the Plumes overdrive pedal.

Anywhere you would think to try an Ibanez Tube Screamer style circuit, throw in the Plumes overdrive. The Plumes has 3 different clipping voices, loads of headroom and almost three-dimensional clarity that will push your amp over the edge.

If overdrive isn’t enough and you want a full on distortion pedal, my personal pick is the EarthQuaker Devices Zoar. It is musical in a way that is not commonly found in distortion pedals. Check out our Zoar pedal page for a demo video.

Finally, I’m a pretty big fan of the Park Fuzz Sound pedal that EarthQuaker Devices builds in partnership with Park Amplification. The special thing about the Park Fuzz Sound is that it uses matched germanium transistors for a classic fuzz tone. While those of us in Arizona have to be careful with using germanium pedals outdoors in 120 degree heat, this is still a great pedal to have in your collection.
