The 1689 takes the best of both worlds from the Klon Centaur and Ibanez Tube Screamer and crams them into one package. It features an internal voltage doubler for huge headroom, clean blend (Which also makes it awesome for bass), and switchable clipping between symmetrical (down) and asymmetrical (up). Country, jazz, blues, rock, and even metal players will find this useful and even indispensable.
The 1689 V2 features a soft touch relay bypass.
